Your voice has helped shape Getting to Zero Illinois — and we need to make sure our region’s voice continues to shape this plan! We’re hosting a regional community engagement session on {date} at {time} to better understand people’s experiences with HIV providers during the COVID-19 pandemic and shape the future of GTZ-IL. GTZ-IL is a hope-filled plan that aims to dramatically improve care for Illinoisans living with and affected by HIV and AIDS, while working to end new HIV cases in Illinois by 2030. We want to know: What has community engagement looked like in 2020? Who is being left out of conversations about improving HIV care and advancing GTZ-IL’s goals? How has COVID transformed HIV care and what lessons can we take into 2021?
GTZ-IL is a statewide plan, which means that every region of Illinois needs to be at the table to help ensure that our plan is built for all Illinoisans, no matter where they live. Hope to see you there!
